Estate Planning encompasses a broad range of issues and the preparation of important documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and community property or other spousal agreements.

Probate is the court process that authenticates a will, appoints an Executor/Administrator and provides oversight to the estate administration.

Guardianship and Conservatorship proceedings may be necessary when an individual is unable to manage their financial or health care affairs and they don’t have planning in place (such as powers of attorney or a trust) that allows someone else to manage their affairs.

Paying for long-term care (in-home or in a facility) can be an extraordinary burden on families. Asset preservation, either through Long Term Care Medicaid qualification or through other means is a primary focus of our practice.
